Termux is a terminal emulator for Android. It can consider being more like a Linux distribution than just terminal applications due to a large number of available packages such as clang, FFmpeg, OpenSSH, python, vim etc.
Termux is not an OS or hardware emulator. It shares the same environment as other parts of the Android OS.
